Petra Kvitova: Two-time Wimbledon champion broadcasts go back after delivery of son


Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova has introduced she is going to go back to the game following the delivery of her son.

Former global quantity two Kvitova has been clear of tennis for 15 months, closing competing on the China Open in October 2023.

The 34-year-old Czech, who received Wimbledon in 2011 and 2014, gave delivery to her son in July 2024.

“After 15 months being clear of tennis and having my child boy Petr, I am coming again to the tennis circuit,” Kvitova mentioned in a video on Instagram.

“I in point of fact leave out tennis and I leave out competing, so I’m in point of fact having a look ahead to being again. I cant wait.”

Kvitova mentioned she plans to go back on the ATX Open in Austin, Texas, which starts on 24 February.
