Former Liverpool mayor Joe Anderson and town baby-kisser Derek Hatton had been charged with bribery and misconduct in terms of council contracts, together with 10 others, police have mentioned.
The costs come after a Merseyside Police probe, Operation Aloft, considering a lot of belongings builders.
Mr Anderson and Mr Hatton have been first arrested in 2020 as a part of an investigation into the awarding of establishing contracts.

Father-of-four Mr Anderson was once elected in 2012, having been a Labour councillor since 1998.
Merseyside Police mentioned 12 folks were charged following an investigation attached to the awarding of industrial and industry contracts from Liverpool Town Council between 2010 and 2020.
Liverpool Town Council mentioned it had supported the police investigation and would proceed to cooperate as required.
