Police have charged a person after a protester scaled Large Ben’s Elizabeth Tower on the Palace of Westminster in central London on Saturday.
Daniel Day, 29, of Palmerston Street, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, has been charged with inflicting a public nuisance and trespassing on a secure web site after mountaineering onto the clock tower, the Metropolitan Police mentioned.
Emergency products and services had been known as at 07:24 GMT on Saturday to studies of a protester who had climbed up the tower preserving a Palestinian flag.
