A British guy has been captured via Russian forces whilst combating for Ukraine, in line with reviews.
In a video circulating on-line, a person wearing army clothes identifies himself as James Scott Rhys Anderson, 22, and says he previously served within the British Military.
Russian state information company Tass quotes an army supply pronouncing that what they name a “UK mercenary” have been “taken prisoner within the Kursk house” of Russia, a part of which Ukraine has held since launching a marvel offensive in August.
The Overseas Workplace mentioned it used to be “supporting the circle of relatives of a British guy following reviews of his detention”.
Within the video, first posted to the Telegram messaging platform, Mr Anderson tells a person wondering him from at the back of a digicam that he served as a personal within the British Military from 2019 to 2023.
He says he joined the Ukraine’s World Legion – an army unit made up of international volunteers – after shedding his activity and seeing reviews on tv concerning the struggle.
He says he flew to Krakow in Poland from Luton and travelled from there via bus to the Ukrainian border.
