About 83.9 million passengers travelled thru Heathrow’s terminals in 2024, the airport has stated.
This record-breaking quantity is 4.7 million greater than in 2023 and three million greater than the former annual list in 2019, prior to the pandemic.
Heathrow forecasts it’s going to serve 84.2 million passengers this 12 months.
It added it will be making an investment over £1bn this 12 months to make the airport have compatibility for the long run.
Heathrow leader govt Thomas Woldbye stated: “I am happy with all my colleagues and our companions who labored so onerous to ship nice studies for extra passengers than ever prior to.
“In 2025, our adventure against higher price for our shoppers will proceed through making an investment in the type of amenities our passengers and airways are searching for.”
